    Yeah, most airlines will take care of you. I missed one on Southwest due to long TSA lines (note, this was before Southwest started getting rid of all the pro consumer policies, so they might suck now) and my wife once missed an Alaska flight due to forgetting her ID I believe. She had to have a layover when initially she was supposed to be direct, but they accommodated her. I did a bit of research, and apparently the flat tire rule is an unwritten rule so you may be at the discretion of how chill the gate agent/ manager is, but in my experience and everyone I’ve talked to about it, they’ve managed to get accommodated when they’ve missed flights.
