So I’ve had a Steam Deck since Christmas and straight away I just want to say what a fantastic console it is, being able to play most PC games wherever you are in the world, is amazing. Especially demanding games like Red Dead Redemption 2, on top of emulation and cloud streaming.

I have a gaming PC and have rarely played on my Steam Deck since I bought it for £200 at Christmas from someone who hardly used it.

Well, I’m now selling it for the same reason. As much as I love it, especially the trackpads, I hardly use it, as I have a gaming PC and I’m never really away from home much.

I’m selling it to my sister-in-law for £250. I put a 1TB SSD in it along with a 250GB SD card, I’m selling the case and dock with it too. I’m also setting her Steam account up and putting about 50 games from Humble Bundles on her account, as they’re duplicated games that I already owned, to get her started.

I know I could’ve gotten more for it but she’s recently renovating her house and has always wanted to get into PC gaming, we always talk about it together but she can’t afford a gaming PC just yet.

So being able to get her foot in the door and get her started with PC gaming by selling her my Steam Deck and giving her a ton of games, makes me happy.

I just want to say what an amazing community it is on this sub. Thank you all. ❤️
