I have a Philips 17PT1565. Have a Sega tower of power, and an OG Xbox attached :-)

Been trying to reduce the power of tower cable mess and have prepared 3 USB-PD cables, but now need a single power source to plug them in, otherwise the entire exercise was futile. Unfortunately have not found a USB adapter with 3 outputs that can deliver 10v USB-PD…

Commodore Monitor 1702. 13 inches of 4:3 greatness! It predates the S-video standard by 3 years, but was forward thinking enough to have separate Luma and Chroma inputs as well as a separate composite video input for compatibility. It contains a shadow mask tube made by Hitachi with JVC CRT drivers.

    LG Flatron RT-29FA33RQ

It has component and quite beefy speakers, but it’s a little past it’s prime in brightness.

Edit: I do have a couple inherited ones and a faulty monitor from a tip shop that I don’t currently use, might make a post about them when I have the time to drag them inside. (If the one in the shed hasn’t gone rusty inside)

Still out there? 😛 Curious if you’ve still got that 17-inch and how it’s been treating you!

I’ve been using a Philips 27PT543S37A, and it’s been so nice. The last TV I had was an older JVC 27-inch that capped off at S-Video, and it had some nasty burn-in. I recently set up a dedicated Batocera PC for this one, and was shocked to find that the signal was sharper still than even the Wii through component! 😅

I still have it, and I still use it. It still works and looks great. The remote is in a rough shape though 😅

Whoof, hopefully new ones are easy enough to source!

Glad to hear that one’s still going strong. Philips has constantly blown me away with how well their sets compete with the equivalent bestowed sets. Same with their headphones, too! They’re doing something right I guess, lol
