I realize 2 video’s in a row about the female Doctor Who might not put me in the best light. Just to make sure: I have no problems at all with a female Doctor. I do, however, have a problem with the aimless and characterless story this female Doctor was put in.
This video, while a bit ranty at times, is a critique of the Chibnall era of Doctor Who and the flaws it contains. While I think it is a bit cheap and snarky on the surface, the core and fundamentals of the video stand and are well presented.
Yeah I watched a few but right from the start it seemed like they felt the need to prop her up with a ridiculous amount of companions and I just sorta lost interest. Also the rise of brit box made seeing episodes ironically that much harder in the US. I sorta miss the days when pbs got the episodes.
