Tim does something stupid. Tim and Jill fight. Tim gets good advice from Wilson. Tim misinterprets said advice, but in a good way. Tim and Jill make up. The end.
Third Rock. I’m not usually a fan of slapstick style comedy, but John Lithgow has the perfect delivery, timing, and enthusiasm in just about every line Dick Solomon says.
watching tim allen can get old, fast… and i think 3rd rock holds up a lot better.

Personally, in the middle of my 4th(?) rewatch of 3rd Rock. I’ve never gone out of my way to rewatch HI.
The former holds up a lot better than the latter, I’ll tell you that much.
Do you have to watch Home Improvement? If you do, then I suggest starting that one because there are 204 episodes to Third Rock From the Sun’s 139.
You can watch a season of Home Improvement and then follow it up with a season of Third Rock.
