I like that it’s more obvious that he’s a complete psychopath. The movie made him too sympathetic. Also he’s described as being a lot uglier and disfigured, which make the disgusted reaction of others towards him a lot more understandable. Ben Wishaw does a great job, but he’s just physically too attractive.
