Hey Beehaw! I’ve been fascinated by how people make decisions when faced with uncertainty. It reminded me of a classic thought experiment:

If you had to choose between two unmarked doors—one promising ‘Luck,’ the other ‘Money’—which would you pick, and why?

I recently designed a digital version of this experiment (a fun personal project), where each choice leads to completely different outcomes. It’s been interesting to see friends’ reactions—some adamantly prefer ‘Money,’ others swear by ‘Luck.’

I’d love to hear this community’s take:

Is your choice driven by practicality or curiosity?

Have you ever taken a blind leap that paid off?

(P.S. Not promoting anything—just sharing a concept! But if you’re curious about how I built it, happy to discuss the creative process in comments.)

I guess I’d probably pick “money” because I am generally risk-averse. I might already have incredible luck, but I don’t gamble, so how would I know? I’ve been incredibly lucky in non-gambling endeavours (my health, my family, my career, etc), but if asked to pick between being stochastically lucky and being guaranteed a certain level of comfort (and thus being able to provide for my family) for the rest of my life, I’m gonna pick the latter.
