With Sanchez gone we’ve got Philips and Davies as backup CB until January. Hopefully no major injuries to the starting pair🤞
On the side note, I’m still feeling bad about booing out the guy at home. He had pretty good and bad moments while wearing Spurs’s shirt. Shouldn’t be that harsh on him.
I would’ve liked to keep Sanchez who looked much better in a high line with a solid midfield, but I think he’s been pretty much done for at least a year. Suspect he can’t wait to get out of here to be honest.
My main worry is not having seen Phillips but I do now trust our coach so that’s a nice change
Exactly, he’s fast and athletic but not very good in 1v1 duels, this is why he looked so miserable with our ‘defensive’ coaches. He’d definitely be a useful player during this season.
