Hey all, so I’ve been trying to figure out a way to get better internet throughout our rental home. I recently found this panel in the master closet and realized that the house appears to be hardwired already. I was hoping someone could confirm for me that the following would work.

  1. Plug in Comcast Router to Coax (have to figure out which one)
  2. Plug that into 6 port switch
  3. Unplug the top blue cables and plug them into the switch
  4. Test ports in rooms (I’m assuming they all work right now)

I’m guessing the gray cables coming from the orange holes are for phone? I really have no idea. Each room on the panel has a plate with 2 ports. “Loft” is the only room I can’t figure out the location of as we do not have a loft.

If this is correct this will greatly help my situation and require me to only need to run 1 cable to a room in the house that has zero connections for anything (coax/ethernet).

Any insight would be great! Thank you!
