I am pretty much a noob when it comes to RAM OC but I am enjoying the learning journey a lot.
System Specs:
7800X3D -> PBO Manual Mobo limits, CO -30
Asus ROG Strix B650E-F -> BIOS Version 3067
My build started with a measly x2 dimms of 16GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 (CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30K) -> EXPO I profile enabled.
I then decided that I need 64GB of RAM and bought the exact same model/speed rated kit, I even made sure it is the ver5.43.13 variant.
After reading countless reddit posts, overclocking YT videos, it seemed like everyone was pretty much in agreement that it was impossible to run 4 dimms at their max rated speeds and timings.
Alas here we are. After adding the two new dimms in the 1-3 slot, it pretty much booted right into Windows and indeed it was running at 6000mts, Zentimings also confirmed that. But after some AIDA64 testing I was getting around mid-70ns range, not something to write home about. In SafeMode, it was a little better, but in the normal boot it was close to 77ns.
After punching in the infamous Buildzoid timings I saw quite a nice improvement.
Current ZenTimings: I only managed to change the timings and only these voltages -> MEM VDD/VDDQVDDIO 1.35V
Can I improve things further from here?
