I was fortunate enough (with a big time commitment) to acquire 3 5070 Ti cards. MSI Inspire OC, MSI Ventus 3x, and ASUS Tuf. Kept all 3 orders in place until I knew at least at least one shipped to me and to guarantee it had all the ROPS.

So, I figured I’d do something nice. Maybe some people locally really wanted these cards and couldn’t get them. Listed the Ventus and the Tuf on facebook marketplace for MSRP ($830 and $999 respectively) + tax that I paid.

Lots of great responses: “that is a $749 card, you are scalper scum!”, “so you’re saying your 5070 Ti is the same price as my 5080, get out of here” etc. Despite my attempts at explaining the 5070 Ti AIB actual retail prices I had no such luck which is a shame. Both cards ended up just being returned to NewEgg/Amazon.

I wonder how the real scalpers are doing out there these days for sales.
