Hi i have a pc built running a pirated version of windows 10 I know the system is nearing end of service so i am consider migrating to windows 11. My coworker has a official version of windows 11 downloaded If i take it and try to install it while my apps remain installed what do i need to take into acount and how will it affect my pc ?

I have been considering moving to linux for years but i use my pc just for gaming and i only download pirated games so idk if i will have issues doing so

Any advice on how i should go about it or should i just rock windows 10 forever
