Yes, you read that right. I’m finally planning to upgrade from some old i3 4th gen to something that actually meets my expectations. And here’s the problem.
I have a job, I’m studying, and I have a million responsibilities from that so-called ‘adult’ life. But still, I’d love to fire up Cyberpunk or Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on ultra in 1440p and not worry about anything.
Now, I’d like to keep my budget somewhat reasonable, so I’m not sure what to go with.
Should I go for the ‘pro’ version with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, or would an i5 14600KF be more than enough?
And then there’s the biggest dilemma—RTX 5070 or 5070 Ti?
I’m thinking maybe I shouldn’t even go for an ultra-high-end PC but rather build a strong mid-range setup that can handle any game with ease.
By the way, an 850W Gold PSU from Corsair should be more than enough, right?
Additionally, I’m planning to get:
- A motherboard from MSI
- G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32GB 6000MHz RAM
- FRACTAL DESIGN Meshify 2 Lite RGB TG Light Tint Black case (I HAVE TO GET IT, IT’S BEAUTIFUL!)
- WD Black SN850X 1TB SSD, with plans to add another one later
- FRACTAL DESIGN Celsius S36 AiO cooler
I’m going with an MSI motherboard and GPU because that setup works best for me.
