Every weekend, I run a script which does a “pihole -a -t pihole-dns1-20250222-0836.tgz” (with the appropriate date) to generate a backup. I save the backups.

Today (22 Feb 2025), I ran my normal “pihole -up”, which I do weekly. It looks like my config is set back to default. I thought I’d just do a “pihole -a -r” to restore the backup. It just displays the basic help command.

I thought I’d load it through the web UI (after I reset the password). I get " Error: Invalid file. The uploaded file does not appear to be a valid Pi-hole Teleporter archive."

I tried “pihole -a -t” to generate a backup. It just displays the basic help command.

This feels super broken. How can I fix this? Do I need to redo all my setting by hand in the web UI?
