Hi there, me and my friend are working a few models we’re making for 3d printing, however they rely on being able to be printed with multiple colors. Currently the process is going into 3ds max and using boolean to be able to make different segements (eg, eyes on the face, mouth etc.) different materials so they can be printed black/white etc. however it’s quite a slog.
I’m aware of bambulabs own slicing program that can simply just paint this stuff on, but neither of us are a huge fan of it.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to make this process easier? Maybe there’s a way to paint stuff in a program like substance painter and turn that into the data needed for a 3d printer?
