I just completed my cardio workout on the elliptical, made by Precor, one hour plus a short 40-second cool down, covering a distance of 5.2 miles. While standing next to the elliptical to catch my breath, I look up at the treadmill, made by Life Fitness, in the next row. It displayed: “Workout summary: 1:00:40. Distance: 5.2 miles.” During my workout, nobody used that treadmill, even for a few minutes. What is going on? Why was my workout summary on a different machine? I only posted this because this is the third time this has happened since the start of 2025.
