A relatively simple question to the many experts on here. I’ve looked through the FAQ section but those led to a lot of deleted threads.

I’m basically just looking for full protection against all types of leaks when using a popular VPN.

1st line of defense : reliable VPN with kill switch and WireGuard settings turned ON

2nd line of defense : bind app and browser to VPN ONLY via a Windows Firewall rule

My reasoning is since the VPN’s kill switch does not reliably prevent all the leaks, a system-level binding rule in the Windows firewall should do that part properly. For both the application that connects to the trading platform API and for the browser itself.

It just sounds to me like simple firewall rules would be a more effective “kill switch”?
