Hello all,

I’m moving into a condo unit I just bought in a few days and started trying to figure out a good home theater set up I can buy for my living room with a budget of around $2k+ but would spend a little more if it would be worthwhile. I confess that this is all like a foreign language to me and I read through some of the guides here and still feel a bit unsure.

I saw this guide which seemed to be something within the realm of what would work (not too complicated, not too pricey):

My concern is since this set up will be primarily for console gaming (PS5/Switch), streaming and some Bluray action from the PS5 that the AVR suggested doesn’t have HDMI 2.1 which I understand to be important gaming. Would anyone be able to give suggestions on which AVR to switch to (or any other items from the guide?). My TV is an LG 65" OLED with HDM 2.1 if that helps. I also live in Europe (Portugal).

Bonus question: In the apartment I’m moving from, I had my PC connected to my LG 65" TV via a very long HDMI cable to play games on Steam as well as stream shows from. In the new place I won’t be able to have my PC be anywhere near the living room as I’ll finally have a dedicated office. Is there any way of at least streaming shows from my PC (the streaming service doesn’t have an app version on the tv nor consoles) onto my TV while also getting the best video and audio quality? My TV will be connected to the ethernet where my PC will be connected to as well if that helps.

Thank you in advance!
