My mom has never been outside of the US, Mexico and Canada.

I want to take her on a week-long vacation to somewhere really exciting and different. She’s 55 years old and has a slight ankle issue, she can still walk okay but not for very long or very far. She speaks fluent Spanish and English.

She’s not super adventurous but really appreciates scenery, leisure and good food. I want to take her somewhere that will really wow her, I haven’t traveled much myself so I don’t know where to start. It’ll be just her, my sister and I so somewhere safe for women.

Any suggestions?
