A NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN EXPLOSION OF NINJA ACTION
John Liu, a sound technician for a New York City news station, becomes a vigilante ninja after his pregnant wife is murdered.
This B-movie was shot in 1984, but was shelved after its distribution company went bankrupt. The abandoned footage was acquired 30+ years later by Vinegar Syndrome; without audio, storyboards, or scripts for the film, it was reconstructed by a new director, and newly dubbed dialogue was recorded by actors including Don “The Dragon” Wilson, Michael Berryman, Cynthia Rothrock, Linnea Quigley, and Ginger Lynn Allen.
A ninja on roller skates fighting a bunch of thugs.
As one does …
Some heavy duty acting by Liu, but the newly recorded dub makes everything come off as goofy.
That’s what i hate about dubs, they can make a movie unwatchable, if they’re bad enough
I think it adds to the experience here. :)
Rattail, one of the movie’s bad guys.
