The Mullvad VPN app isn’t available on my computer so I need to manually set up wireguard. Would using the proxy in Mullvad browser be similar to changing the VPN server if the app was available?

In other words would it be sort of like quickly changing servers on Android? I know traffic from my system will always be the same but I’m not worried about that. Mainly changing location to avoid blocks and captchas on reddit, etc.
