Would LOVE to know if anyone has a similar experience to this or a logical explanation.
Ok so a few years ago, I was with my boyfriend at the time, and we were at his apartment opening mail. I had re-routed my all USPS packages (via the USPS website) to his place because my building had a package theft problem. One of my packages was a small bubble mailer, that I opened to find a little golden earring with a hand on it. What freaked me out was, I used to wear this earring all the time, but about 6 years ago, and I remembered I had got it from Etsy back in the day. It was sent from the Etsy shop to my full address (the package was not forwarded from my old address and I’ve moved many times since across the country). I had NOT reordered the earring haha. I even went on my Etsy account, and we found that the order # they had on the packing slip was from my order 6 years ago. How did they have my new address after moving many times, and why would they send this to me now, years later, when the original order was already fulfilled? The whole thing gave me and my boyfriend such a creepy feeling, he didn’t even believe me at first until I showed him the order # from 6 years ago. Also the earring was like a sort of palm-reading dangly 3D hand earring if that adds any mystique to the story haha. It’s kind of funny and also creepy and also just plain weird and time-warpy. From time to time I think about it as just further proof of a glitch. I sent a message to the Etsy shop but they never replied and now appear inactive as of about a year ago.
