I just subscribed to YouTube TV with NFL Sunday ticket to finish out watching the rest of the football season. I live in Utah, and signed up in Utah, however, when I go to work, I cross state lines into Nevada (I have about a 45 minute commute to work). So I start watching a football game at work (now in Nevada), and to my surprise the app warned me it detected my location in a different region. It asked if I wanted to switch regions, and it seemed at the time, that if I did not accept switching regions, it would not allow me to watch. I switched but there was some warning about it only letting me do this 3 or 4 times withing a certain period of time (I forgot exactly what it said). I went ahead and switched it so I can watch the football at work. But I’d also like to be able to watch it at home. I thinks it’s all a bunch of bull crap because I’m a paying customer, not like I’m trying to pirate it. I do have a VPN called ******* VPN at home and installed on my phone. Neither VPN was in use during this whole thing.

My question is, is there are fix for this, so I can watch YTTV when I commute without getting any further strikes? I’m afraid if I turn on my VPN and set it to a location in Utah while I’m at work, it might still use my location from GPS? Any ideas? Thank you.

I wasn’t allowed to post the name of my VPN. Starts with M**, and ends with VAD.
