Hello!

So I’ve been enjoying my pc for 6 years now, but in some new games I’m starting to get low fps. I0ve been thinking of buying a new one, but I feel I can extend my pc life by upgrading just the graphics instead of spending ~2000€ in a powerful new one and a 4k screen.

My current pc specs (HP Pavilion Gaming 690-0013ns):

Processor: i5-8400

Graphic card: 1060 3gb

RAM 16gb (upgraded 3 years ago): Hyperx fury black 8gb x2 DDR4

Disk (upgraded 1 year ago): Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB

PSU: 310W

Is it worth upgrading just the graphics card? I’ve seen that I could get second-hand 1660ti for around 80€.

Will I have any serious bottleneck problems?

I don’t want to upgrade too much components since the pc is too small and I’m not sure if I would be able to fit a better PSU to upgrade up to RTX 20xx

Thank you!
