@Jerry@hear-me.social I don’t see this option on my Pixel 8 Pro with #GrapheneOS and Android 15 QPR1. 🤔
@snafu
Did you get the latest security update (December 2024)? I don’t know what QPR1 is.
I have a Pixel 9 Pro. I was updated 2 days ago, which is when it appeared.
I’ve been reading articles about it, but none mention the particular devices. I hope you see it soon.

I’ve got 2024121200 on Pixel 8, and it has a setting for 90%. Still charges to 100% though.

Mine only has an 80% option? It’s working as claimed on my Pixel 9 Pro.
@Jerry@hear-me.social @jonas@fosstodon.org Maybe he’s accidentally trying it with the battery saver which would also explain why it keeps charging. It has a 90% option.
@jonas @Jerry Where is that option on your smartphone? Maybe I’m just too silly to find it.
@snafu @jonas
I found it in Settings->Battery->Charging Optimization. One of the radio buttons is “Limit to 80%”
@Jerry@hear-me.social @jonas@fosstodon.org Interesting, I don’t have this option indeed.
