They would be converging if the Republicans weren’t moving even further right.

That’s just an excuse for chasing after them.

They are literally rolling back civil rights legislation, weakening child labor laws, requiring public schools to teach the Bible, and want to deport citizens.

And Democrats look at that and see an opportunity to move right.
