The worst errors on Linux that I had in recent times is due to OOM and disk failures causing Linux not to boot. Still haven’t faced any catastrophic errors due to Linux itself. Updates have been running smooth for several years now.
It’s wild how we all have different experiences! But that’s why it’s nice to have options. :)
I’m going to try a bunch of distros through a Hyper-V VM in Windows to see which I prefer, then I’ll try either a dual boot, live USB, or full install on one of my spare PCs.
