        It’s an infamous classic with history told through the form of countries as anime people, the state apparatus still exists but each nation has a human personification that acts as a stereotype. It’s mostly comedic but sometimes gets serious as well (not when it comes to topics like WWII, which is basically neglected as a whole except when separating countries as “Allies” and “Axis Powers”). I think as a concept it could’ve worked but it unfortunately perpetuates a lot of historical lies and misconceptions. Just think of it like the OG predecessor to country balls except with yaoi elements.
