It’s an infamous classic with history told through the form of countries as anime people, the state apparatus still exists but each nation has a human personification that acts as a stereotype. It’s mostly comedic but sometimes gets serious as well (not when it comes to topics like WWII, which is basically neglected as a whole except when separating countries as “Allies” and “Axis Powers”). I think as a concept it could’ve worked but it unfortunately perpetuates a lot of historical lies and misconceptions. Just think of it like the OG predecessor to country balls except with yaoi elements.
Hetalia if it was better
Just looked this up. Sounds like Japanese version of polcomoball.
*jp version of countryballs for millennials and early zoomers with some gay/yaoi undertones
ngl i miss it lmao, they look better than just circles with country flags
