With the re-election of Trump I’m convinced that our generation’s time – I’m in my 80s -- has passed. The values I admire, the qualities of character I respect, seem to be relegated to some kind of antique standards shop. We’re decidedly outta style.
Yep. This. They are not students of history, that’s for sure. People cheering on destruction are just as likely to be underfoot as anyone. Unless you are some kind of broligarch and are able to take your billions and skip off to a safe place - and with a military like ours, I guess no place on the planet is truly “safe” for someone the maga-infected State wants to get, sooooo, maybe even the broligarchs should not be trying to bring this about…
