Explanation: The Macedonian phalanx involved a great number of troops with pikes, some of whom had to raise their pikes up in the air to prevent crowding the troops in front of them or poking them in the back of the head. Obviously, ROMAN FORMATIONS ARE FAR SUPERIOR TO THIS GREEKOID NONSENSE
