I’m sorry but this is very clearly the flag of Luxembourg.
hon hon hon, this is cleearly the previous french flag
Incorrect, the French flag has very dark navy.
They changed it not that long ago it was lighter before.
Wrong shades of red and maybe blue for France.
I hope there’ll never be toothpaste with the German flag’s colors
Yellow and black tooth paste do exist, so we have the technology.
But we really shouldn’t 🤢
Missed the opportunity to make it 1 pixel wide.
There is more red than blue.
20 pixels each
What you originally posted two comments up, seems to have either a white pixel bleeding into the red, or a couple red pixels straying into the white.
That may just be my bad eyesight though.

edit: just cross-posted to there!
I’m subscribed as well but the post don’t seem to show up in my feed. I’ll have to look into that.
ah I forgot to click all instead of local when searching communities 😅
looking at this makes me want to mod a game like minecraft or something so the player character is the landmass of the Netherlands and your health bar is the flag
Minecraft but you play as the Netherlands
Please make the Feddit one more popular, that would be so funny
I see zero subscribers, zero posts. I’m not breaking that streak
Thank you! Just shared over there and edited my title for accuracy
The best part of this meme is watching the thumbnail and attachment together. It’s like timed perfectly.
You see them long ones fairly often in the Netherlands, though I suppose it’s technically called a streamer or pennant or something.
It is not the size of the Dutch flag that matters, it is that you use it.
I remember subscribing to !vexillologyjerk@lemmy.antemeridiem.xyz but got dead :<
is this a meme? is this science?
VEXILLOLOGY: The scientific study of the history, symbolism, and usage of flags or, by extension, any interest in flags in general. — Whitney Smith, Flags Through the Ages and Across the World, 1975
history is not science. I’m struggling to see how flags can be scientific whatsoever. but i am autistic
We don’t gatekeep the sciences here. :) Helps that I’m cross disciplinary. They just keep sticking me in a STEM dept lmao.
Why this is my favorite community on lemmy <3

So true brother!! It’s actually all philosophy! QUEEN DISCIPLINE YOU CAN’T STOP IT
Long story short, it’s all the same
You’re right. A lot of historical facts are used in the pursuit of knowledge in science, this is just one of them
