After my recent bitwarden/vaultwarden “what if” moment -

I’m re-thinking scope and reasons for self hosting various services.

Primarily the three biggest reasons for me are:

  • cost(financial),
  • privacy.
  • hobby / education / “fun”

I need to have a clear strategy so my family can continue to access data if I’m incapacitated that does not compromise general privacy until that time.

Anyone have any thoughts that result in simple non-technical and ideally near seamless “business continuity” for family - mainly cloud storage of important documents and password manager.
