Hi there, if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

I somehow managed to setup the unifi dream machine pro se. I connected directly with Ethernet from the Starlink. (It did all sorts of updates etc). That finished.

I then put my Starlink in bypass mode and everything started going wrong.

I lost internet as the starlink router ceased to work in bypass mode, but then the udm seem to not show any up or download from the Starlink. It showed it was plugged in.

So then I thought I need to plug in an AP to find wifi. Anyway, plugged in an ap (short cable) just to try it out. I cannot for the life of me get the AP to do anything. It doesn’t show up in the udm at all. I’ve been using my phone app to view the udm pro settings, and then i even hard wired an old windows laptop to try and see if that would help. I reset the ap multiple times (just held the little reset hole button down until it a blue light appeared, while plugged in) nothing helped.

I restarted the udm and Starlink multiple times. Nothing helped.

Then I decided to forget Starlink for a minute and just try and get the udm & ap working.

So i got our existing 4g router and plugged a cat 6 cable from the lan/wan port into the 2.5gb port on the udm. That registered. (Udm seemed to get some very slow speed (normally I get about 10’- 30mbps on that wifi).

Then i plugged in the ap, nothing happened.

I should mention, the ap is a Access point U6+. I’ve got the se version of the udm pro with poe ports

It says my udm is all updated.

I did go into network on the dream machine and create a wifi network, but that didn’t seem to do anything.

Any help appreciated. I don’t know what to do next.

Thanks,

William
