I do deliveries all over town and I’m shocked about how many stray dogs are on the south side. And it’s exclusive to the south side.

It’s also not random or chance occurrences or encounters. I’ve been seeing the same thing steady and unchanging for over 20 years since I’ve lived here. Every time I’ve had to drive down there for any reason. Like it’s part of a culture of neglect and abuse.

They should just put up a statue of an emaciated dog when you’re about to enter that side of town, or at bare minimum ‘Dog X-ing’ signs like they do for deer.

It’s depressing to see, it isn’t right, and obviously has some kind of answer behind it.

So what’s the answer?
