This was my first ever Android device and I learnt a lot from tinkering with it. This was the Huawei Ideos S7.

    I rooted it in 5 minutes using some weird chinese app I got off XDA developers. Back then, rooting, installing recoveries and custom ROMS were so much easier.

      I rooted my first Android by typing telnetd↵ into a terminal. Technically didn’t even need the terminal… everything you typed went into a hidden root shell.
