I am moving to northern Florida (Tallahassee) into a small apartment (300 sq ft) and I like to sleep at 66 degrees or a little lower. I am concerned that turning my apartment temperature this low, especially in summer, will make the electricity cost very high. Should I purchase a space cooler? How do I get my apartment, or at least room temperature this low for cheap?
Looking at the average temperature throughout the months, the average low temperature in Tallahassee is below 66 degrees from October through May. Does this mean at night it would not be expensive to cool my apartment this low?
