Dont get me wrong, we need more ways to elevate and connect people who want careers in green tech. But how about a climate job fair? How about free resources and training? This sounds like a $300 a month networking club for entrepreneurs with a waitlist and a private clubhouse, spearheaded by an ex-facebook tech bro and an arrangement with UWs start-up incubator, the nature of which they “can’t elaborate” on. Color me highly skeptical.
I know what you mean. But at least it’s in the spirit of Leary’s admonition, “Now find the others”. It’s astounding that people weren’t at least talking action ten years ago … but then who expected COVID.
I’ve read recently that a LOT of people are sorely needed to learn about heat pump installation. That could be one priority.
