if you are a serious programmer, and you write serious shit that you actually want to use for something good, you re not putting it on github, so every ass at microsoft can shaft your code before you even release your application. i consider the praxis of uploading your work to github an absolute education to idiocy. create your personal repository and share open source. But why share with fucking Microshaft? They are shafting us every day, giving away our data, lobbying against our privacy, using our CPU downtime for their purposes (!!! - usually military) and taking our taxpayer money after lobbying our governments into submission

remember all the cities which attempted to turn their bureaucratic management to linux and away from Microsoft? Coincidentally all these cities grew cancer pustules in the form of bureau-towers where microsoft now has an office… and a few other criminal corporations

github is NOT open source, it is not FOSS, well, some of the applications on github are, but this is like building a library of alexandria for the guys who burn books they don’t like

The author sounds like the kind of person who thinks the opposition to their move is a signal for how correct their morals are.

Not that everyone is criticising them in good faith. If you go through the issues you can tell that a lot of people there probably don’t use the library or a derivative but are enjoying the opportunity they have found to slag off someone anonymously.

Meanwhile the library author has doubled down on the correctness of their peacenotwar module to inflict collective punishment on Russian and Belarusian people. Typical woke imperialist mindset. I think they have removed the destructive malware in node-ipc though so that is a small positive. But I don’t know who will decide to use this library now that it comes bundled with peacenotwar.
