Michigan lawmakers didn’t just pass an $83 billion budget early Thursday, they also approved nearly 100 other bills during a marathon 19-hour session before finally breaking for summer recess.

The unemployment benefits news would be better if one could truthfully apply without the gauntlet questionnaire and still qualify.
At this rate, if a job isn’t going well and I can see the writing on the wall, rather than:
- try to save my job
- stick it out for appearance’s sake
- go through the experience of being fired
I’d rather just resign.
