Hey guys, electrician in central mass here. Work commercial but do plenty of sidework, hoping to go on my own soon but not sure yet. For those of you who know the area, Worcester is the big city in central mass. It’s a lot of old early 1900s apartment buildings that have been mollested by every hack, handyman and cheapskate landlord for the past 120 years. Everytime I work in one of these buildings I either walk out because it’s too much liability or I can’t troubleshoot what would seem like basic issues. Any tips on how to better understand this stuff? It’s mostly building that we’re “required” but still utilizing old cloth insulated bx
