So I will start off by saying that I’m not a racing or sim fanatic, but I like to experience new things in the gaming world. Since I like racing games in general (but never a hardcore sim racer since I’ve never owned a racing wheel), I’ve decided to get myself a starter racing wheel.

After a quick reading and research, my pick was Logitech G923 as a beginner, but the more I read the deeper I went, and my preference then became Thrustmaster T300, but then I started to see those beautiful racing wheels and Direct Drive motors, and now I want a Moza R5 bundle. After lurking for a bit in this sub, it seems Moza R9 makes more sense!

Now I know I’m a beginner, but I don’t want to get something I will eventually upgrade or replace. It feels that MOZA makes more sense since it’s kind of available (still have to order from outside the country) and the only two wheels available locally are G923 and T300.

I was going to throw in Fanatec to the conversation, but they seem to be even harder to get from where I am.

Appreciate any pointers and guidance!

PS: I would also like to learn to drive stick! Is there a simulator on Steam that can help me with that?
