Honestly I switched away from the Firefox snap as it was just not running that great. I can’t remember exactly how but google will help, basically uninstall firefox snap and install it from another source (I used the gnome software centre but I guess that’s not available on kbuntu - might be another though).
This seems to be the best guide and the page was updated August 2023. But, I don’t think I’ll switch because websites load fine. Facebook and Reddit are really slow but I plan to delete those accounts. Everything else works well.
It was a bit annoying to switch all my open tabs over but otherwise pretty easy change. The snap version was freezing for me a lot but the one installed through the gnome store hasn’t frozen at all.
Kubuntu desktop with latest Firefox snap package. If this persists, I’ll try Edge or Chrome and let you know the results.
