Has anyone reconciled after a separation, especially a long-distance one? How did you make it work?

After DDay 2 (trickle truth) I was so angry I told my WP to leave, he had wanted to visit his family to take space after DDay 1 but we decided to wait a while. I ended up finding more evidence his betrayal was longer/more than he let on originally (basically that he would flirt with any/all women he had on snapchat vs. the 2 EA/PA I found out about on DDay 1).

He’s currently driving cross country, he’s thousands of miles away, and all I have is regret that I pushed him to leave so quickly (it is less than a week since DDay2).

I just want to have some hope. He says he still wants to fix things with us. We both said it’s just a break for space, but he also quit his job and took all his belongings because I originally asked for 6 months.
