I had an econ student tell me it’s just because Russia is used to fighting artillery wars and the west isn’t so why would the west have the capacity anyway?

I responded “Maybe the west should stop starting wars they can’t win then?”

I was also drinking so maybe I was a bit of an ass about it, but I hope it was a little food for thought

Based on the people I follow that live in Russia they are doing quite well. No war conomy

Of course not, it’s just reddit cope. Just like they’re saying it’s OK Russia is out-producing shells 3-to-1 because Western shells are superior and more accurate.
