What if your pet is from a suprime intelligent species. But, it has grown to such a point. It’s incapable of relaxing/having fun. They have the technology to place a restricted form of the species/s conciseness into a lesser being for recreation and rest with a full life cycle. The equivalent of a couple weeks holiday for us.
