    Not all work - when you do it for yourself, it can be a very good thing.

    Even toddlers “play” - making art, building blocks, doing routine tasks, engage in roleplay, etc. - is a form of “work”, for the gratification of the one doing it rather than increasing the wealth of an abstract corporate behemoth monster.

    Imagine sexing someone up, not to feed yourself but just b/c you wanted to brighten their week:-D.

    My prostitution of my mind may not be physical or sexual but it is absolutely prostitution.

    I think Sex work offers some pretty valuable work in today’s age of social isolation

    These are people who’s literal jobs are to understand healthy social connections as a science to be able to provide it to people who have to go without for whatever reason.

    Everything’s about sex but the sex itself, pretty much every provider I’ve met has felt like the sex was just the fun part of all the intimacy and deep conversation they put in the work for around the sex.

    Sex work is degrading but that’s my own personal opinion and I shouldn’t force that worldview on other people
