It’s needless to say that climate change is a very scary topic that is a lot to handle. There are a lot of very bleak predictions, and even optimistic predictions will significantly disrupt humanity for at least some time.

What are your tips on how I (and many others) can cope with this?

(P.S. It’s like I make a new post every day, isn’t it?)

My only way of dealing with it is understanding that capitalism is at the root of the issue and do whatever is reasonable to confront it, inform myself and, this one I’m still struggling wirh, organizing with some social action

Difficult times. I prefer to call it climate crisis and it is not just about the future, as the crisis has been going on for some time and I find it heart breaking to see personal greed and climate denial or climate indifference to be so dominant in the real world in my area :( In newspaper articles I’ve read that scientists found out that trees are having stress. What keeps me going is the virtual world of the Internet.

    • Some daily cartoons can make me smile for a moment.
    • When I’m in a train and most other people are busy with their phones I like to look out of the window to the sky, clouds, the woodlands, animals, plants, trees. I like birds and their sounds and flying.
    • Reading paper books sometimes brighten up my mood.
    • Writing poetry for myself can be fun when the inspiration is there.
    • Making music or listening music can be rewarding for me.
    • Doing little “good deeds” can make me feel slightly better, like helping others with computer issues or talking to homeless people (Who are usually ignored by most people).

But I guess this is all personal (Like some people like to go to a lunar park or speed racing or a crowded live concert). 🙌
