For hidden voting games like Avalon, where the mechanics of voting are a bit slow and interrupt the game experience loop, what solutions have you found to make voting faster?

Are there physical voting devices you like?

Back in one of my old hacker spaces someone built a wireless voting system which was really handy, and really made games like Avalon 2-4x more enjoyable.

Example of a one-off wireless voting system being charged

If I recall - Each device communicated over bluetooth. You paired all the devices when you powered them on, so they knew how many votes there were. When people hit a vote (red or green) the device turned white, and buzzed (so you knew the vote registered when holding under the table). You could change your vote. Once the last vote came in, all the devices would show red or green for the winning vote, and then the total reds and total greens would be shown randomly on each device (so you couldn’t say hey, its red, you must have voted red)

This really sped up our games!

I’ve never played a game like that that involved voting, but this seems like a clever setup
