So I have an old Steam account I had for years. Will give away account information to someone if you think you can get in.
Here’s the situation: I changed my email to a forwarding service. so it’s randomwords_characters@jepepla.com However, the forwarding service shut down and is no longer functioning, so I’m locked out of the account. I don’t even know the email address that was generated for me because the service is gone. However if there’s anyone here that thinks they can get in, I’m happy to send along the login information I do have. DM me if interested.
I have contacted support, they want the email associated with the account… but I don’t have that information. I also purchased many games to support indie devs that I knew, so I have many games on there that are… garbage… and I don’t know the titles to or when I purchased. I also am not even with the same bank I used when I made those purchases. We’re talking about an account created some time around 2005 with something like 3-500 games on it (most are trash <$5 games or humble bundle purchases)
you could probably give support the email you used before you switched to a flighty email proxy, along with the emailed receipts from steam. You don’t need to know the names of the games you bought, just search your inbox for “Steam”.
Bro you realize this entire scenario reads like you know some users password but you don’t know their login username or email address and are trying to get people to steal the account for you right?
I’m not really surprised it reads like that. Steam support felt the same way lols. I’m not interested in the account anymore, I havent played a video game in years. It just seems like a waste to let the account just sit there though. All I have is my username and password. That’s what I have, that’s what I’m willing to give away for free, no personal questions, no strings.
I deleted the gmail account that I signed up to steam with years ago… As far as I can tell though without some hacking it won’t be possible to get into the account. Just thought I’d offer. I’ll post a screenshot of the request confirmation code screen tomorrow if I remember if that’s any form of corroborating my story. All it has at the bottom is the ***@jepepla.com reference though.
