They’re like a foot and a half long and I use them to flip frying things or even test the oil temp by putting the tip in the oil and seeing how quickly it bubbles. And you’re right, they’re incredibly useful.
If you can find them get the super-long cooking chopsticks. Especially if you fry a lot.
